ROCK SPRINGS — Traveling eastbound along Interstate 80 will be extremely difficult this weekend as a cold front moves into Wyoming tonight and will last until Sunday.
According to the latest WYDOT Road Impact Report, snow will begin falling late this afternoon and this evening along the southern portion of the state causing blowing and drifting snow.
We can also expect subzero wind chill factors for the next several days, with the heaviest impact along I-80 between Rawlins and the Nebraska State Line.
If you’re planning to travel, be prepared for black ice conditions and be sure to check the WYDOT website for updated road and travel conditions before you hit the highway.
