SWCSO Confirm Jamestown Resident Reported Missing

UPDATE: Jamestown residents Patricia Ellington has been located thanks to an alert reader.

Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Dick Blust reported that Deputy Sheriff Derek Morrell made in-person contact with 52-year-old Patricia Ellington, who was reported missing on July 7th, early Friday afternoon in Rock Springs.

Blust credited an alert reader with recognizing Ms. Ellington from the Sweetwater Now story on the case that was posted earlier today; the reader contacted the Sheriff’s Office, and Morrell followed up on the information.

SWEETWATER COUNTY – The Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office is looking for any information on a Jamestown resident who has been reported missing.

SWCSO Spokesman Dick Blust confirmed Patricia Ann Ellington was reported missing on July 7 by her son, Channing Posey. Ellington is described as a white female, age 52, brown-gray hair and brown eyes. She weighs about 115 pounds.

Ellington has been entered into the National Crime Information Center database as a missing person. Anyone with information should contact the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office.
