GREEN RIVER– Judith Kay Pistono passed away July 8, 2018 at her home in Green River, Wyoming. She was a lifelong resident of Green River.
Judy was born July 8, 1945 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the daughter of James Travis and Maxine King.
Mrs. Pistono attended schools in Green River, Wyoming and was a 1963 graduate of Lincoln High School in Green River.
Judy married Richard Pistono on September 03, 1966 in Green River, Wyoming, he preceded her in death January 20, 2006.
She worked as a secretary for the Sweetwater County School District #2 for 25 years, retiring in 2004.
Mrs. Pistono enjoyed camping, golfing, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons; Troy Pistono and wife Danea of Green River, Wyoming, Paul Pistono and wife Lana of The Woodlands, Texas Craig Pistono of Phoenix, Arizona; Brother in-law Robert “Chico” Pistono, Sister in-law Linda Travis, five grandchildren; Brandon Hutchinson, Tiffany Guzman, April Shannon, Ellie Pistono, Payson Pistono, 4 great-grandchildren; Nathan Campos, Ethan Guzman, Brogan Shannon, Nixie Guzman and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Maxine Travis, husband of 40 years Richard Pistono and brother James Travis Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am, Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 900 Hitching Post Drive, Green River, Wyoming. A rosary will be recited at 6 pm on Monday at the church. Graveside Services and Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Monday, one hour prior to the rosary and on Tuesday at the church one hour prior to the funeral mass.
