Knadler Ties for Fifth as Cowgirls Place Ninth

RIVERSIDE, Calif.  – Sophomore Megan Knadler earned her best collegiate finish as the Wyoming women’s golf team concluded its opening tournament of the spring season on Tuesday afternoon.

After notching a 74 (+2), Knadler tied for fifth and paced the squad with a total score of 224 (+8) at the Battle at the Rock in Riverside, Calif. It was the first top-five finish of her career and third within the top-ten. Additionally, her three-round total was one shot off her career-best.

“Megan (Knadler) worked very hard over the break,” UW head coach Josey Stender said. “It was great to see her have a confident start to the season. I am very proud of all of them, especially as most of the team battled illness this week. We made a lot of great things happen during this event and also set the baseline for this spring.”
