Lane Christopher Tesdal, 70, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Eastern Idaho Regional Hospital in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was a longtime resident of Green River, Wyoming. He was born on July 16, 1951 in Portland, Oregon; the son of Donald and Kathryn Tesdal.
Lane grew up in Medford, Oregon and graduated from Medford Senior High in 1969. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed as an ironworker for most of his life and worked on retrofitting/updating many of the Soda Ash mines and Jim Bridger Power Plant in the Sweetwater County, Wyoming area.
He married Marlene Kaye Erickson on October 23, 1976 in Medford, Oregon. They were blessed with 45 years of marriage and joy.
His interests included the love of motorcycling, gunsmithing, family, faith, and enjoying the life the good Lord gave him. He was a member of the Vietnam Vets Motorcycle Club and the American Legion Post 28 in Green River, Wyoming. He faithfully attended the Rock Springs Methodist Church and the Providence Reformed Church in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
Survivors include his wife Marlene Tesdal, son Edward Tesdal, daughter Ana Lindig, sister Susan Haines, grandchildren Willow, Liam, and Grey, and many nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Kathryn Tesdal, brothers Lee Tesdal and Mark Tesdal, father-in-law and mother in-law Dale and Anna Erickson.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Rock Springs Methodist Church, 1515 Edgar St., Rock Springs, Wyoming.
