Last Sweetwater County Community Town Hall Set for Wednesday

SWEETWATER COUNTY – A series of informational meetings for county residents to meet and discuss issues is coming to a close. The final meeting will be on Wednesday and will be for the residents north of Rock Springs.

The series of meetings, hosted by the Sweetwater County Planning Department, takes place in the smaller communities in the county. Meetings have taken place in areas like Reliance, Farson and McKinnon. The meetings allow residents to get a better understanding of some of the processes of the county. It also gives residents a chance to ask questions of the different officials.

Officials from most departments in the county, as well as a couple Sweetwater County Commissioners, are present to answer questions and hear different concerns. Similar meetings have been done in 2008 and 2011.
