Enhance Your Cupcake Decorating Skills
 ROCK SPRINGS – If you are looking to ramp up your cake decorating skills, make sure to check out an upcoming series of classes at Rock Springs Library.

The Sweet Eats! Cake Decorating classes will be taught by Erica East from Sweet and Savory Creations. The first class will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10 at the library, 400 C Street in Rock Springs, and will focus on Buttercream and Cupcakes.

 

“Cupcakes are a really popular dessert for birthday parties, etc., and a lot of people struggle with decorating them. I’ll teach a few very simple techniques to really jazz up your cupcakes.” – Class Instructor Erica East.

During the class, East will discuss tips on getting the right consistency with frosting. She will also demonstrate a few piping tips in order to achieve a beautifully decorated cupcake.

“Anyone can learn to decorate cupcakes,” East said. “Sometimes people feel overwhelmed when trying to decorate their own cakes or cupcakes. I hope that people attending the class can walk away feeling less stressed and more confident about their cupcake decorating skills.”

This is the first class in the Sweet Eats! Cake Decorating series. Other upcoming class dates and topics are Cake Images at 6:30 p.m. March 16 and Edible Flowers at 6:30 p.m. April 13. All classes are free and open to the public.
