JACKSON — According to the United States Geological Service a magnitude 1.8 earthquake was felt in Jackson. Those that felt the quake and reported it to the USGS include 37 in Jackson and 1 in Wilson.

The quake was centered two miles east north east of Jackson and occured at 11:37:08 pm on May 11th.
