A strong upper level disturbance will bring scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms today. Storms will initially begin across the south and west, then spread east of the divide later today into this evening. Heavy rain, small hail, and gusty winds will be possible with any thunderstorm that develops today. Expect scattered showers and embedded thunderstorms to continue across the region through the overnight hours tonight. Another round of isolated to scattered thunderstorms are then expected for Wednesday.
