In Wyoming, we have the ability to seek physical therapy directly, before seeing a physician. We may suggest a follow up with your physician or recommend additional diagnostic testing, but if physical therapy is appropriate, we can schedule an evaluation appointment. Many insurance companies are waiving cost-sharing responsibilities during this crisis.

The US Department of Homeland Security and Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon have declared Physical Therapists essential infrastructure workers because PT’s play a key role in keeping people they can help out of doctor offices and ER’s. This frees up medical teams to treat those impacted by COVID-19 and limits the exposure of those seeking physical therapy care.

If care is most appropriately provided in the clinic, we are able to do so in a manner that is consistent with CDC guidelines, as we operate in the largest facilities in the community, each having up to 10 private treatment rooms and up to 7500 square feet of treatment area. This allows us to continue to provide individualized, one-on-one care to each of our patients, either in isolation or with the recommended 6 or more feet of individualized space.
