UINTA COUNTY — Last night, Bridger Valley Fire responded to a structure fire on South East Street in Lyman. Upon arrival, crews found the garage to be fully engulfed in flames, according to a social media post from Uinta County Fire and Ambulance.

While the garage may be a loss, Bridger Valley Fire crews worked quickly to prevent the flames from spreading to the home.

“Crews worked to minimize extension into the rest of the house,” the post states.

All occupants were able to get out safely, however, the home suffered extensive smoke damage.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
