Play And Learn School of Wyoming is more than just a daycare!
As the premier child-care provider in Sweetwater County, they pride themselves in being a center that is fully inclusive, diverse, nurturing, and focused on developing your child’s social and emotional skills.
PALS is a full –service center that provides daycare services from 6am to 6pm with early drop-off and late pick-up available on an as-needed basis. Programs are available for ages 6 weeks-5 years old, as well as before/after school and Friday care for school-age children. All programs include meals and snacks at no additional cost.
In addition to full-time and part-time child care, PALS offers morning and afternoon Preschool (ages 3-4) and Pre-K (ages 4-5) classes to all enrolled, as well as morning (8-11am), afternoon (1-4pm) and full-day preschool or Pre-K classes to those that just want the classroom services.
PALS is pleased to announce the recent addition of Mikaela Bolt as assistant director over the Preschool and Pre-K programs. Mikaela comes to us with many years of experience in childcare and education, and is currently working on her BA in Special Education. Thus far, her education has focused on child development, early childhood education, and other related areas.
Recently, SweetwaterNOW sat down with Mikaela to find out more about the program at PALS.
“I’m excited to use my experience and knowledge to help the community through educating young minds.
Mikaela Bolt, Assistant Director
Here at PALS, our curriculum is a hands-on program with daily activities including music, dramatic play, arts and crafts, storytelling, and more. We are a multilingual facility, and so at the Preschool and Pre-K level we teach basic sign language and basic Spanish as well.
The primary goal of our program is to have our students prepared and ready to enter kindergarten, and that involves more than just learning. We also help our students to develop their emotional and social skills, which is especially important since those areas have been affected by the current pandemic. I will work on emotional regulation, self-esteem, sharing and expressing emotions using words, and much more, all within a fun and safe environment.”
Enrollment is now open for a condensed Preschool and PreK program that will run from January 4th to June 3rd 2022 with limited space spots available. Classes will be Monday through Thursday 8am – 11am (morning session), 1pm to 4pm (afternoon session), or full-day.
PALS also has full-time openings for most other age groups.
PALS truly is the best value in full–service child care! Besides being lower in overall cost than any other center in Sweetwater County, all snacks and meals are included in the cost of their programs. PALS accepts most state and other assistance/subsidy programs for those who qualify, and can help with the application process.
Space is limited, so don’t delay.
