ROCK SPRINGS – Those looking for a night of music at Bunning Park will only have one chance this week.
With the big Fourth of July celebration coming up, there will only be one concert this week as the local favorites EIO Band will be taking the stage Tuesday night. The EIO Band will get residents dancing as they fill the air with their unique Polka sounds.
The EIO Band will be warming up Tuesday as in twelve days, they will be opening International Day, also at Bunning Park, on July 12 at 10 a.m. On Tuesday at Concerts in the Park, they will be starting at 7 p.m.
While this may be the only Concert in the Park this week, residents still can have a night of music on the Fourth of July at the Wataha picnic area as another local favorite, Bill Valdez will be keeping his Fourth of July party going. With the park hosting mud volleyball for most of the day, Valdez will hit the stage at 7 p.m. with a special flag ceremony at 8 p.m.
When the city of Rock Springs starts the firework spectacular, the Valdez crew will switch to the radio and the music which goes along with firework show.
Concerts in the Park series will start back up on July 8 with the blues and classic rock sounds of  Max Martinez.
