SWEETWATER COUNTY — The Radio Network is keeping children warm this winter by donating coats to children in need.
The Coats for Kids campaign donated more than 100 brand new coats to the Rock Springs Coat Bank at the Housing & Community Development office.
Proceeds from the Radio Network’s ornament sale went toward purchasing the coats from Herberger’s. They time the coat purchase with a major sale so they can buy as many coats as possible.
“If we receive large monetary donations, which has happened in the past and happened this year, we will go buy more coats,” said Adrienne Hintz from the Radio Network.
This is the 22nd year the Radio Network has done this fundraiser.
