Raymond Paul Evans was born May 20, 1982 in Ogden, Utah and returned to his Heavenly Father April 23, 2021.
He attended Northridge High School in Layton but received his diploma from Ogden High School in 2000.
He was an expert marksman and placed in two national competitions.
Ray lived in Idaho, Layton and Ogden, Utah as well as Sinclair and Rock Springs, Wyoming. Ray was a wonderful cook/chef, and kept us all well fed and always wanted to please everyone with his cooking skills. He loved experimenting with new food combinations. He loved the outdoors, especially being at the family cabin, taking his dogs and kids fishing, teaching them to shoot, cut wood, and ride four-wheelers.
He was and always will be a great father and husband. His great sense of humor always kept us laughing and happy.
Ray is survived by his wife Rachel L. (Cosgrove) Evans, son Gage Ray Evans, daughter Shaylee Rae Evans, son Elijah Anthony (Bubba) Trujillo, and daughter Elyana Destini Mendez of Rock Springs, Wyoming. Also surviving are his parents H.
