RELIANCE — According to Chief Dwane Pacheco on May 12, 2015, Sarah Seymour (35) of Reliance, was arrested for Distribution of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine on May 12, 2015.
A joint investigation was conducted by detectives of the Rock Springs Police Department Street Crimes Unit (SCU) and detectives of the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff’s Narcotics and Arrest Group (SNAG). Information was developed that Seymour was involved in the illegal distribution of methamphetamine. As a result of the investigation Seymour was arrested at her home.
A search and seizure warrant authorized by the Honorable Judge John Prokos was obtained for Seymour’s residence. That search warrant was executed on May 12, 2015, and in the course of the search, multiple narcotic items were located and seized. These items included methamphetamine, methamphetamine pipes, syringes and other associated drug use paraphernalia.
Seymour was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine-less than 3 grams, Child Endangerment, and Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. Seymour was incarcerated at the Sweetwater County Detention Facility.
The Rock Springs Police Department reminds citizens that all persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
