ROCK SPRINGS – Friends and family gathered at the Saddle Lite Saloon Monday night to not only remember 35-year-old Andy Joe Carrillo but to help raise money for the young family left with challenges they must face now without a husband and father.

Andy died suddenly on Sept. 15 at the University of Utah Medical Center leaving behind his wife Christina and their three young children, Letta and Zoey Carrillo and William Cordova who are all under the age of 12-years-old.

With his sudden, surprising and untimely passing, not only does the family have their monthly financial obligations, most of us struggle with daily despite having two incomes coming in, this young family is now trying to pay the unexpected medical and funeral costs for Andy.

A tearful and thankful family said they were very blessed as residents helped raise a little under $600 to go towards the challenges this family now faces.

If you did not get a chance to go on Monday but still wanted to help there are accounts set up at Trona Valley Credit Union locations in Mountain View, Green River and Rock Springs. Anyone can donate to help Andy’s family through this tough time. The account at the Trona Valley locations is FBO – Andy Joe Carrillo.
