Reward Offered In Louise Lake Moose Poaching Case

LANDER – Lander Game Warden Brady Frude is seeking information on a bull moose harvested illegally along the Louis Lake/Loop Rd on Oct. 6-7.

“This is really disappointing. A mature bull moose that could have been harvested legally by one of the fortunate few to draw a tag in the area, has been poached,” Brady continues, “Even if this was an unintentional crime, at least the meat could have been donated if someone had contacted us. I would urge anyone with any level of information to please let us know, as it may be the piece we need to solve the case.”

Anyone with information on this wildlife violation may call the Stop Poaching Hotline at (877) WGFD-TIP, online at wgfd.wyo.gov, in a text message to TIP411 (using keyword WGFD), or by calling Brady directly at (307) 332-2704. Reporters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward up to $5,000 if the information leads to a conviction.
