ROCK SPRINGS – Richard A Skrdlant, 64 of Rock Springs, Wyoming passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.

He was born on July 16, 1949 in Hastings, Nebraska, the son of the late Norman and Vera Skrdlant.

Mr. Skrdlant attended schools in Hastings, Nebraska.

He was employed as a custodian for many years.

His interests included playing games especially bingo and cards.

Survivors include two daughters Amy Pankonin and fiance’ John Flaim of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Kerrie Pankonin of North Platte, Nebraska; one brother Vernon Skrdlant and wife Donna Smith of Enumclaw, Washington; two granddaughters Soniea Wright and Michelle Wright both of Rock Springs, Wyoming; two nephews Kelly L. Skrdlant of Columbus, South Carolina and Jason L. Skrdlant of Antioch, California.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-mother A. Margaret Skrdlant; grandparents Joe and Stella Skrdlant.

Following cremation, memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Restoration Ministries, 518 Elk Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services.
