WYOMING — As of 8:30 a.m. a large winter storm is impacting travel in Wyoming. More snow is in the forecast so expect travel disruptions. Two-to-six inches of new snow will be possible by early Wednesday morning.

Multiple eastbound closures on I-80 starting at Rock Springs and going east are in effect. Westbound lanes are open but treacherous with winter conditions.
U.S. 191 South is closed due to winter conditions between Rock Springs and the Utah line.
U.S. 191 North is under a black ice advisory between Rock Springs and Pinedale and beyond.

Going west from Green River most roads are open, but black ice and slick conditions prevail.
