Jamie Schall started making her mother’s hot fudge recipe as a way to honor her. It was her mother’s dream for it one day to be a household item, but she passed away in July. Since her mother’s passing, Jamie wants to help make that dream come true.
Their hot fudge goes great over ice cream or drizzled over cookies or fruit. It also is great made into hot chocolate or as cake topping, but just eating it straight out of the jar works too. They started out with plain chocolate but have been expanding flavors which now include island fudge and peanut butter. Each week at the Downtown Farmer’s Market they’ll introduce a new flavor. Stop by this week’s Downtown Farmer’s Market, sample a little and take home a jar or two.
The Downtown Farmer’s Market will be held tomorrow on South Main Street from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and continues every Thursday through September 25.
