Rock Springs City Councilman Clark Stith is the owner of the property, Stith said that  “I want to thank the Rock Springs Fire Department and the Rock Springs Police Department  for their quick response to a fire in my basement last night.  I had been out of town at my nephew’s wedding in Lubbock, TX.  As I was driving back from the SLC airport RSPD sergeant Robinson called me to inform me of the fire. Special thanks to RSFD Captain Ron Gatti, Dom Erramouspe,  RSPD sergeant Robinson and the other first responders for saving my house!  Two tenants were in the basement at the time of the fire.  Both escaped unharmed.”
