ROCK SPRINGS —  At their latest meeting, the Organization Committee of the Rock Springs Main Street/URA voted to recognize Wendy Koritnik as the February Volunteer of the Month.  Wendy has spent numerous hours chairing the newly updated Downtown Chocolate Lovers’ Stroll.  Under her direction, the event has garnered over 20 chocolate entries and will aid in bringing people to Downtown for the March 8 event.  Wendy is married to Louis Koritnik and they’re the proud parents of 3 young men – Kyle, Zach and Taylor.  She’s also an entrepreneur, owning and operating “For the Love of Cupcakes and More.”  To help grow her business, Wendy will be launching a new website, fortheloveofcelebrations.com in the near future.  Not only has Wendy donated a tremendous amount of time to the Rock Springs Main Street/URA, she’s also baking and donating 300 cupcakes for the Chocolate Lovers’ Stroll!

Volunteer of the Month awards are based on the number of hours volunteered while other awards will recognize various achievements and roles with the Rock Springs Main Street/URA.
