ROCK SPRINGS — A 21-year-old Rock Springs man was arrested Sunday afternoon when the vehicle he was driving rolled over in Blairtown.
According to a Rock Springs Police Department incident report, officers responded to the area of 1801 Blairtown Connector Road in reference to an accident at approximately 4:35 p.m that day.
The report states that the vehicle was driven by John Peasley and there were two teenage passengers in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Both passengers were transported to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County for injuries sustained in the accident.
After further investigation, Peasley was arrested for DWUI with a Child Passenger, his first offense, and Consumption/Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage by Operator of Vehicle, also his first offense.
The Rock Springs Police Department reminds the community that all suspects are presumed innocent until their case has been adjudicated in a court of law.
