ROCK SPRINGS – A recent call for help to keep the young community warm this winter was answered by the Rock Springs Police ProtectiveAssociation.
The PPA recently donated 31 new winter coats to the Rock Springs Coat Bank. Housing and Community Resources Supervisor April Thompson said because of their donation, 31 children and teens will now be able to stay warm.
The coat bank is still need of warm, winter coats. Many of the sizes have been depleted and as a result, they have been unable to provide coats to many in need.
Helping out is easy. Just drop off a warm, new or gently used coats at the Rock Springs Coat Bank located at 233 C Street, next to Rock Springs City Hall.
The bank is currently out of the following sizes:
- Boy’s sizes: 4T, 5T, 6T, 7 and 16/18.
- Girl’s sizes: 5, 6, 14, 15 and 16.
- Young Adult and Men’s
