RS Council Looks to Approve $7.9 Grant for Airport’s Commercial Terminal Project

ROCK SPRINGS — The Rock Springs City Council will look at a resolution approving a nearly $8 million grant for the Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport’s Commercial Terminal Modernization project.

During the Council’s meeting Tuesday, July 20, at 7 pm at City Hall, the council will review the $7.9 million grant between the United States Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration and the City of Rock Springs for the commercial terminal modernization project.

Under the presentation portion of the meeting, Airport Director Devon Brubaker will speak to the Council about the proposed project.

Other Business

The Council will review a resolution to approve a commercial building purchase and sale agreement between the City of Rock Springs and the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce for the building located at 1897 Dewar Drive.

Under presentation and Proclamations, Rock Springs will receive its National Main Street certification from Wyoming Main Street.
