ROCK SPRINGS — The Rock Springs Eagles Aerie #151 will be hosting an event for the 13th annual Tribute to Fallen Soldiers Memorial Torch Motorcycle Ride this year.
This annual 28 day, 5,000 mile cross-country motorcycle ride will escort the Fallen Soldiers Memorial Flame from Eugene, Oregon to Arlington National Cemetery in Washington D.C. to honor and pay tribute to America’s fallen service members.
As they progress across the U.S. they also make Fallen Soldier Home Visits, which are scheduled stops at the homes of fallen heroes to present the surviving families with a Memorial Plaque of Distinguished Service to not only acknowledge their sacrifice but to remind their families that they have not been forgotten.
The Rock Springs Eagles Aerie #151 invite the public to join them for a meet and greet and drinks with the riders and friends on Thursday, July 14, at 211 B St., Rock Springs. There will be a 50/50 raffle for the bikers to help with fuel and transportation for their journey starting at 7 p.m.
The event is open to friends and guests 21 years and older. Entertainment will be provided by Dan Kershisnik.
