ROCK SPRINGS — The first action of the year for the Rock Springs High School (RSHS) Lady Tigers basketball team will have to wait.
At least one student-athlete has tested positive for COVID-19, leading to the entire girls basketball team being quarantined.
As a result, the home opener against Cheyenne Central scheduled for Friday at 4 pm has been canceled. Saturday’s game against Cheyenne East has also been crossed off the schedule. RSHS girls junior varsity competition has also been canceled.

The Rock Springs Tigers boys basketball team is still scheduled to play their games, which start Friday, December 11 at 7 pm.
