Freshman Kaitlin Kindel was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mrs. Mindy Sheckler. Mrs. Sheckler said, “Kaitlin has really put forth a lot of effort in reading class. She is staying focused, working hard on all assignments and helping to keep others engaged and working. I am so proud of the hard work she is doing and the great grades she has received on all of her assignments.”

Sophomore Charles Larson was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mrs. Debra Tamosauskas. Mrs. Tamosauskas said, “We have been doing projects in geology class and Charles has taken a strong leadership role in helping to clean up anything the classes have left undone at the end of the day. He has gone out of his way to be helpful and is a positive influence in the class. He always has a cheerful smile and a great attitude. He has also improved dramatically academically. He is a real pleasure to have in the class.”

Freshman Justin Saner was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mr. Steve Chasson. Mr. Chasson said, “Justin gave an excellent presentation, particularly in regards to his speaking skills, ability to respond to questions, and improve his written speech as he talked. He initiated a conversation amongst his classmates that demonstrated a high level of maturity, respect, and communication with purpose and empathy. All of these are important leadership skills.”

Junior Brayden Rondo was nominated as a Student of the Week by Miss Jessica DuPuis. Miss DuPuis said, “Braden took the time and made the effort to thank our bus driver every time he exited the bus. This demonstration of appreciation caused a chain reaction, as his leadership prompted the rest of the students behind him to also thank our bus driver. Braden was respectful enough to recognize the bus driver’s work and model positive character traits to others.”

Senior Tony Lew was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mrs. Angela Stephens. Mrs. Stephens said, “Tony is the president of the speech and debate team. He is a diligent, kind, compassionate, and intelligent competitor who exemplifies the values of a great leader. Tony works hard and celebrates the  successes of all around him. Tony is an academic all-star, yet he is humble. He is respectful to all around him and exemplifies the reflective leadership that helps keep our team as a positive family that supports themselves in defeat and victory. I have been so blessed to work with Tony this year. His wisdom and dedication to success inspire all around him!! I will miss him so much, but I know he will use his talents to improve our world.”
