“We have a lot of young depth that we are looking forward to seeing on the court. There are lots of varsity spots up for grabs with lots of competition. It will be good for our program.

We had a busy fall and winter with indoor open net at Black Butte High School. In addition, we had a full spring schedule with matches against almost every Wyoming school. And we spent our summer with camps, open nets, and intrasquad matches. For the first time in my six seasons, we have a full coaching staff of three together all spring and summer.

Ten months of offseason court time has prepared us for our goal of finishing in the top ten or better at the state tournament this year. Our skill level has improved tremendously due to open net sessions, spring tennis, and all of our summer work, including a great showing at the University of Wyoming Cowgirls Tennis camp that we hosted in July. We have an army of young talented and hungry players who will push our veterans. This year we are looking at a team of over 60 players.

Offseason work has made us much more competitive, especially under the coaching of my two assistants, Garrett Seamans and Haylie Nandrup. And our parents have been outstanding in helping us prepare for the 2022 season. I am so excited to see what we can do out on the courts.”
