ROCK SPRINGS — Sage Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization is sponsoring a giving tree for the residents of Deer Trail Assisted Living. Fifty-one of their residents gave the Sage PTO their favorite color, treat, and a special wish item that they would like this holiday season.
They are all simple items such as knit hat, gloves, scarf, etc. I feel like our older community members sometimes get overlooked during the holidays and Sage Elementary PTO is excited about helping spread some cheer to them this Christmas season,” – Sage Elementary School PTO President Natalie Powell
Organizers have each person’s wish item hanging up on a tree in the entrance of Sage Elementary School.
There are also 21 students at Sage who need some extra help this year and have tags on the tree as well.
Organizers are asking that people return the wrapped items with the tag on the outside of the package so they can get it to the correct person.
