Sandra Carol Wylie, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She died following a lengthy illness.
She was a resident of Green River, Wyoming, for the past five months and was a former resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming.
She was born on July 8, 1958, in Santa Monica, California; the daughter of John Dale Skinner and Lena “Marie” Ann Caron.
Ms. Wylie attended schools in Nevada.
She married Charles Wylie in 1986 in Texas. He preceded her in death.
Sandra worked for Tommy Parker Trucking for 32 years and was a long-haul bull truck driver.
She enjoyed spending time with family, her two furry friends Nala and Kimmy, watching cowboy movies, riding horses, writing, gardening with friends and going for scenic drives.
Survivors include her son, Beau Justin Carr of Casper, Wyoming; two daughters, Mona Quinn of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Jennifer Quinn of Medford, Oregon; one brother, Mike Avilez of Alamo, Nevada; one sister Marcia Eisenhower of Roy, Utah; six grandchildren, Stacy Yates, Tevin Liska, Taylor Skinner, Kya Quinn, Kyle Willmen, Daphne Gould; three grandchildren, Collins Yates, Amaya Simson, Gweneviere Simpson; along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
