SWEETWATER COUNTY — Activities will be going on around the county to honor veterans for Veteran’s Day this week.
Thursday, November 10th
- Rock Springs High School Auditorium, Rock Springs
6:00 p.m. – Northpark Elementary students will perform a Veteran’s Day Program. First and Second grade students (almost 150 students) will perform first at 6:00 p.m. Followed by Third and Fourth grade students (almost 200 students) at 6:45 p.m.
- White Mountain Junior High, Rock Springs
6:00 p.m. – A musical will be performed by Westridge Elementary School’s Second grade for families and veterans.
Friday, November 11th
- Lincoln Middle School Auditorium, Green River
11:00 a.m. – An honor for veterans presented by the Monroe Intermediate School’s sixth grade students. Families and veterans are invited.
- Sage Elementary, Rock Springs
2:30 p.m. – The school will host an assembly where veterans will speak to the children. Students made posters that line the hallways. Veterans and families are invited.
