State Agencies to Discuss Spring Workplace Safety Training

ROCK SPRINGS – Employers statewide are encouraged to attend the workplace safety and violence training seminars to be held this spring by the Wyoming Highway Patrol and Wyoming Office of Homeland Security.

The three-and-a-half hour presentations will teach workers how to react in emergency situations.

Participants will learn to understand their surroundings, develop an emergency action plan and follow their intuition.

Courses will be held in 10 Wyoming communities:

Laramie
April 8

Rock Springs
April 11

Jackson
April 12-13

Riverton
April 14-15

Cody
April 18-19

Sheridan
April 21-22

Gillette
April 25-26

Casper
May 2-3

Guernsey
May 10

Cheyenne
May 25

The courses will be held three times in each location to allow more people to attend the training. Seating is limited. Find more information, and register in advance, at hls.wyo.gov/workplace-safety.
