SWEETWATER COUNTY – Tronox and the United Steel Workers Local 13214 ratified a three-year contract on Thursday night. The union and Tronox have been in negotiations since late May.

Union Spokesman Monte Morlock said negotiations were fair and productive. He said the union received some concessions but did not go into specifics. The agreement avoided the possibility of a strike for the next three years.
