SUBLETTE COUNTY — The Sublette County Sheriff’s Office is letting residents and travelers know that a planned cattle drive will impact traffic from June 11-17 on U.S. Highway 191/189.
According to a social post from the SCSO, the cattle drive will start at dawn on Saturday, June 11, from the Rim at milepost 128 to Rim Draw at milepost 132. There will also be cattle drives in the Dell Creek/Elkhorn area at milepost 145. These drives will continue in the Dell Creek area, throughout the week of June 13, 15 and 16.
On Thursday, June 16, the drive will leave the Dell Creek area near milepost 145 and travel northwest to the Granite Creek entrance at milepost 152 of Highway 191/189.
“Please expect delays and be prepared to stop. Plan accordingly as your travel times could be greatly increased. These cattle drives are expected to be in the post-dawn hours of each day, but times could change as peak traffic and cattle travel times are variable,” the post states.
