Susan Elaine Evans, 68, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at Central Wyoming Hospice and Transition in Casper, Wyoming.

She was a resident of Casper, Wyoming, for four years and former resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming.

She was born May 15, 1953, in Ogdensburg, New York; the daughter of Donald Lindsey and Francis Jewell Williams.

Ms. Evans attended school in Rock Springs, Wyoming, and was a 1971 Rock Springs High School graduate.

She worked at the Sands Café for five years as a bartender and a waitress.

Ms. Evans loved spending time with family and the great outdoors. She was an avid Las Vegas Raiders Fan. Ms. Evans enjoyed her cats; all animals; wolves and singing. 

She was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include her son Jesse Evans of RAF Lakenheath, UK USAF Base, daughters Lorraine Wilcox of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Jessica Stafford of Casper, Wyoming; two sisters, Jeanne Harrison of Rock Springs, Wyoming,Teresa Slater of Reno, Nevada; eight grandchildren, Ariel Peña, Destiny Nichols, Sierra Nichols, Serenity Wilcox, Kaelyn Wilcox, Kennedy Evans, Jaxon Evans, Floyd Stafford; five great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Jenkins, Charles Jr. Peña, Anthony Peña, James Chorazewitz, Axel Ronning; four nieces; three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Stokes and husband Floyd Stokes.

Cremation will take place; a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
