Sweetwater Dive Team Receives Special Award

SWEETWATER COUNTY – The Jim Stark Community Service Award was presented to the Sweetwater Dive Team by Sweetwater County Sheriff Rich Haskell in the County Commission Chambers in Green River on December 16.

The Dive Team has been involved in many rescues and recoveries on Flaming Gorge and other lakes and reservoirs in Wyoming over the years.

Haskell cited the Dive Team’s long history of “committed, selfless service to the people of Sweetwater County,” noting that diving operations are never free from risk.
