ROCK SPRINGS — Head on out to the Sweetwater Events Complex this weekend April 18-20, 2014 for the Sweetwater County Junior High and High School State Qualifier Rodeo. Events will kick off on Friday, April 18 at noon with the Junior High division. The junior high contestants compete in a variety of events, including Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, Breakaway Roping, Tie-Down Roping, Chute Dogging, Team Roping, Ribbon Roping and Junior Bull Riding.

High School events will then begin on Saturday, April 19 in the Indoor Arena. Events in the state qualifier include Bareback Riding, Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tying and Cutting. Both Saturday and Sunday you can watch every event.
