GREEN RIVER — Tiger Den of Pack 312 in Green River finished their service project for the Team Tiger requirement by creating birthday boxes.
The Scouts sent collection boxes to local schools and the Green River Recreation Center asking for donations for birthday supplies. After collecting a total of 362 pounds of cake mixes, soda, frosting, candles, and disposable cake pans and other items, the Scouts made birthday boxes for the Food Bank of Sweetwater County.
Den leader Natalie Mulvey said wanted her Scouts to know that even though they are small, they can still make an impact in their community.
These birthday boxes will be handed out to anyone less fortunate in hopes to help make them feel special on their birthday.
