ROCK SPRINGS — According to the RSPD, officers of the Rock Springs Police Department were dispatched to the Sweetwater County Airport around 6:00 a.m. this morning in response to marijuana being found in luggage by the Transportation Security Agency (TSA).
The investigation revealed that the luggage belonged to Joey Deann Cook, 24 of Virginia.
Cook was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, a misdemeanor, and transported to the Sweetwater County Detention Center.

Cook placed seventh on the fourteenth season of America Idol which aired in 2015.
Court officials said that Cook pleaded guilty and was given a $240 fine and 12 months of probation after five hours in jail.
