CASPER — The Rock Springs High School Tigers wrestling team took to the mats at the state competition and came in sixth place overall.
According to unofficial results from the 4A Wyoming High School Activities Association Wrestling Championships, Natrona County came in first with 247.5 points, Sheridan grabbed second with 243.5 points, and Thunder Basin High School nabbed third with 224 points, while Rock Springs came in sixth with 114 points.
Rock Springs wrestlers competed against 11 other schools. The competition took place in Casper today with wrestlers from around the state working toward a state-championship title.

For RSHS freshman Broc Fletcher, his dreams of being a state champ became a reality when he took first place in the 4A-106 division.
Meanwhile, senior AJ Kelly ended his career on a high note with state championship title in the 4A-285 division.
Other Tigers who stood out at state, include Cash Christensen, who took fourth in the 4A-160 division and Mason Yenney who took fifth in the 4A-152 division.
