Winds Top 70 MPH In Central Wyoming


WYOMING — According to the National Weather Service in Riverton, strong winds aloft, a tight surface pressure gradient, and favorable atmospheric conditions resulted in the very strong wind across portions of northern and central Wyoming Tuesday night. 75 mph winds were observed along Outer Drive on the south side of Casper, and at Dead Indian Pass along the Chief Joseph Highway in the Absaroka Mountains.
