ROCK SPRINGS – Over 1,000 residents were without power after Monday’s storm.
Rocky Mountain Power Spokesperson Margaret Oler reported that at 6:29 p.m. approximately 1,344 customers were without power after a strong storm rolled through the area.
Crews patrolled the line and did not find any problems with the line itself. Oler said they then restored the circuit and it stayed on. While no exact cause was listed, one scenario given was protective equipment on the lines may have shut the circuit off.
Power was restored at 7:21 p.m.
