ROCK SPRINGS — Thursday night’s matchup between the Rock Springs Tigers (RSHS) and Riverton Wolverines (RHS) was the second and final time both teams would see each other in the regular season. The Wolverines completed the season sweep on the boys side, and split games between the girls teams.
The Lady Tigers struggled to find any offensive rhythm throughout the game, which gave Riverton the advantage in the end, 28-19. The Lady Wolverines held on to a lead in the second half and continued to keep Rock Springs at bay offensively. Rock Springs falls to 3-14 on the season with the loss.
In the boys game, the Tigers kept the scoreboard close throughout the first quarter, but fell behind at halftime. The Wolverines held on to the lead in the second half to secure the win 62-51. Rock Springs falls to 3-12 on the season.
