GREEN RIVER — Green River High School Cheer had 11 Wyoming All-State Cheerleaders selected this year.
To earn All-State, the cheerleaders had to perform a cheer, dance, jump sequence, standing and running tumbling, and stunting. Along with their skills they were scored on their GPA and coach recommendations.
This year’s GRHS All-State selections are listed below:
Damien Holmes – Junior
Luis Batista – Senior, two-time All-State selection
Broox Riley – Senior
Alex Atkinson – Senior
Branson Barton – Senior
Allysa Drinkle – Sophomore, two-time All-State selection
Darica Meeks – Senior, two-time All-State selection
Addee Beardsley – Senior, three-time All-State selection
Abby Cook – Senior
Zoe Castillon – Freshman
Shawn Arellano – Senior

To earn All-American, the cheerleaders have to be nominated to tryout from a head coach or UCA staff member and then perform jumps, a cheer, stunting, and a dance for the girls.
