ROCK SPRINGS – Behind six event wins on Saturday, the Green River Wolves finished second at the 4A West Regional swim meet over the weekend. Michael Richmond and Brendan Bloomquist led the way.
Richmond scored wins in the 50 free and the 100 back while Bloomquist finished first in the 100 fly and the 100 breaststroke. Richmond set a new conference record in the 50 free with a time of 22.05 while Bloomquist set a new conference record in the 100 breast with a time of 1:02.12.
The two were also part of wins in the 200 medley relay and the 200 free relay. Joining them in the relay wins were Ethan Moffatt and Lane Hutchison.
