Wolves Wrestling Team Takes 4th at State; One Crowned State Champ

CASPER — The Green River Wolves Wrestling team competed in the 3A State Competition and wound up with a fourth place finish.

The Wolves came in fourth at state with a total of 148 points. Star Valley took first with 228, followed by Douglas with 202, and Worland with 165.5.

During the 3A Wyoming High School Activities Association Wrestling Championships, wrestlers from 17 cities, including wrestlers from the Green River High School team, met in Casper with hopes of becoming state champions.

For one GRHS wrestler, this became a reality. GRHS freshman Kale Knezovich came in first place in the 3A-106 division. Congratulations Kale!
