ROCK SPRINGS – Another year at Western Wyoming has reached the finish line as graduates prepare to take the walk tonight at Rushmore Gymnasium. The celebration gets underway at 7 p.m.

On Thursday night, Jackie Freeze gave the board a small update on the ceremony. This year, 40 less students will march. Freeze said this is not a surprise since enrollment has been down the last couple of years.

The ceremony will proceed as it usually does. Freeze said they will exit out the back door again this year and will begin lining up in the hall starting at 6:30 p.m.

Freeze did report his year’s ceremony does have one small change. She explained all the new lights have been installed in Rushmore Gym and should shed a little more light on this year’s graduation.
