CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Capitol will open to the public on July 18th and 25th this year. This allows visitors access to the Capitol for tours and sightseeing on the Saturdays of Cheyenne Frontier Days.
“Wyoming’s Capitol – one of only 20 in America recognized as a National Historic Landmark – is scheduled to close later this year for renovations. I invite the people of Wyoming, visitors and those in town for Frontier Days to visit and view this beautiful landmark. To make it easier we have opened the Capitol these extra days,” Governor Matt Mead said.
The Capitol is open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the 18th and 25th. The Capitol Information Desk will be staffed.
